Some advice to our beloved students

Advice

1. Keep up مطالعه of your kitaabs especially جزاءالاعمال – اداب المعا شرت – اسوه رسول – تحفة الخوا تين – بهشتي زيور – رياض الصالحين – Sublime Conduct and For Friends by Dr Ismail Mangera.

2. Engage in teaching children with شفقت – محبت and dedication. If you are teaching on your own, always make Mashwerah with senior Ulema regarding the formulating of syllabi and how to teach. In doing so, Inshallah, the children will benefit from your teachings. See to their تربيت as well ie.performance of salaat, behaviour etc.

3. Keep up with your اعمال and معمو لات. Be conscientious in performing salaah on time with خشوع and خضوع as well as being punctual on nafl salaah also, viz تهجد – اوابين– صلاة الضحى – اشراق Read Surah Yaseen after Fajr, Surah Waqiyya after Maghrib, Surah Alif laam meem sajdah either after Maghrib or Esha and Surah Mulk after Esha. Perform Salaatut Tasbih daily or at least once a week if you can, on a Friday.

Durood sharif at least 300 times
3rd Kalima and Istighfaar 100 times each, mornings and evenings.

Be constant in :

(i) Checking your intentions
(ii) Making محاسبه of your اعمال before sleeping
(iii) Making Shukr to Allah Ta’ala for all the bounties He gives us, for the greatest bounty of Imaan
and the توفيق of performing اعمال صالحه
(iv) Seeking forgiveness for our sins and shortcomings.
(v) Keeping your heart always clean from malice and hatred.

4. Keep up to تبليغ programmes. Be regular in attending ladies’ programmes and take out some time to educate yourself and others as well.

5. Always display good akhlaq and humility. Be obedient to your parents, husband and elders. Also, show kindness to your associates and young ones. Abstain fromكذب – غيبت – لغو كينه – حسد – تكبر etc. Observe strict pardah and dress modestly. Speak less and speak politely. Be first to make salaam and always have a smile.

Remember you will be admired for your اخلاق and the خدمت you make and not only for the knowledge you have.

6. Adopt taqwa ie. develop consciousness of Allah Ta’ala at all times and keep in mind that we will be accountable to Allah Ta’ala. Therefore, to maintain and develop this taqwa always remain engaged in ذكرالله and righteous deeds and abstain from all sorts of sins. Especially in this time of fitnah and fasaad, always be on guard. So guard yourself with Taqwa.

7. Make this our mission in life: to practice and preach every sunnat of our beloved Nabi  in all aspects of life. Remember success lies only in the tariqah of Nabi 

8. Always keep company with the pious and the righteous. Take their advice. For your self-reformation, take a Sheikh -e-kaamil and follow his advice. Read about the lives of the pious and take aspirations from their lives.

Become pious and righteous, you will be so rich. So enrich yourself with deeds and qualities which will make you beloved to Allah Ta’ala. To attain and maintain this, always keep the company of the righteous ones and make our homes into
